I die and so I exist!

The challenge was to connect contemporary art to traditional handicrafts and design, to thus establish new fields of relationship between these apparently very different disciplines and yet still connected in essence. Primarily dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of writers Octavio Paz, Efraín Huerta, José Revueltas and Julio Cortázar, the ofrenda or altar also featured writers who have recently left us: José Emilio Pacheco, Juan Gelman, Federico Campbell, Gabriel García Márquez, Emmanuel Carballo, Carlos Fuentes, Carlos Monsiváis, Alejandro Aura, and a special mention to María del Carmen Millán.
